Welcome to the Community Essentials Team microsite and thank you for taking the time to visit us. The Community Essentials Team provides a full range of facility management services including catering, caretaking, cleaning and school crossing patrols to schools and other public buildings such as libraries and social services buildings throughout Northumberland.

With a staff of 2,000 cleaning over 400 buildings and serving up to 30,000 meals a day we are one of Northumberland’s largest employers.

The division has been successful in winning recognition with the award of Chartermark for our customer services, ISO 9000:2000 for our quality standards and Investors In People (IIP) for our commitment to our workforce, and we are all extremely proud of the services we provide to the local community as we like to say:
